Doll house literally brings a smile on our face and we all love to own one. Kids are especially fond of these fairy tale houses and enjoy playing with it. Here, we are going to make one such beautiful fairy doll house and that too from waste substances lying in our home like plastic ball and waste cardboards. It makes a great display art and you can use it as a home décor.
Since this fairy doll house craft is made from plastic ball and cardboards, it is our best out of waste craft idea! Why not make it for kids as well as your drawing room?
Things Needed
- Plastic Ball
- Plastic Cup
- Sand
- Cello Tape Cardboard
- Glue Gun
- Cardboard
- Cutter
- PVC Pipes
- Fevicryl clay
- Comb
- Toothpick Stick
- Water
- Acrylic Paints and Brushes
Procedure
Step 1: To begin with, let’s take a plastic bottle, a plastic cup and some sand. Pour sand in the plastic cup and apply glue on the surface.
Step 2: Stick the plastic ball on the surface of the cup. This will serve as the base for the craft.
Step 3:Now let’s take two cello tape cardboards and cut it to form arc shapes.
Step 4:Apply glue and stick it on the ball in a particular manner.
Step 5: Now take cardboard of size 1*4 inches and remove the outer layer of it.
Step 6: We need multiple such pieces for the craft. Apply glue and stick these pieces on the ball and make a layered arrangement with these pieces. Paste it on one side of the ball.
Step 7: Now take pieces of PVC pipe and fix it on the ball.
Step 8: Take fevicryl clay, roll and press it to make it soft. Make long rolls from it and stick it near the arc shape objects.
Step 9: Take a glass bottle and roll it on the clay to flatten it. Apply water and stick it on the upper surface of the arc shapes.
Step 10: Now take a comb and slide it on the clay to make some designs on it. Repeat the same process with other arc shape objects as well.
Step 11: Paste the clay on the ball. Now take toothpick stick and water and slide it on the surface of the clay to make the required design.
Step 12: Stick some more fevicryl clay on the design. Now make some balls with clay and stick it on the design. Similarly, make a door bell like structure using clay.
Step 13: Cover the remaining portion of the ball with clay pieces and use a toothpick to give definition to it.
Step 14:Make some more designs with clay and fix it on the PVC pipe.
Step 15: Let’s start painting the craft using different acrylic colors. Apply shades of yellow and brown as the base color.
Step 12:Now use different shades to finish the rest of the craft and leave it to dry completely. Finally add some highlights for a great finish.
