Watch making of this Hand Purse for Girls
Hand purses are more of a need than a show-off item. Usually ladies and college going students need a hand purse to keep their essential stuff in it. You may have seen these purses in different shapes and designs.
However, have you ever imagined a hand purse made of ice-cream sticks and denim cloth? Well, certainly not. Here we are going to make a light weight and portable hand purse which is made of ice-cream sticks and old used denim jeans. It is very unique and fashionable purse craft in its own way.
Things Needed
- Old Denim Jeans
- Fevibond
- Mount board
- Pencil
- Cutter
- Ice-cream sticks
- Glue Gun
- Velcro
Procedure:
Step 1: Let’s take an old denim jeans and cut out a piece from it.
Step 2: Open the cut out piece, fold and stick the edges using fevibond.
Step 3: Take a mount board (a type of cardboard that you can purchase from nearby stationary shop) and mark measurements on it to make an ice-cream cone like design.

Step 4: Draw an arc on these markings and further draw a cone shape.
Step 5: Cut out the cone shape design. We need two such shapes for the craft.
Step 6: Now stick the cone shapes on another jeans cloth and cut it as per the shape.
Step 7: Take the original denim piece and paste ice-cream sticks on it.
Step 8: Now take the cone shapes and make small cuttings on it.
Step 9: Stick the cone shapes on the opposite sides of the denim cloth and roll it to give it the shape of a hand purse.
Step 10: Take a Velcro and stick it on the inner portion of the upper flap and outer portion of the lower flap. This will serve as the opening/closing point of the purse.
