Flower pots are mostly used as a decorative object in the home. You mostly use them to keep flowers in it and it becomes an excellent home décor. Moreover, it has a natural look and we all love to decorate our homes with different flower vases.
Here, we are going to make one such DIY flower vase and that too with old newspaper and waste plastic container. This is an excellent way to recycle the plastic bottles and make something creative out of it.
Things Needed
- Empty Plastic Bottles
- Glue Gun
- Newspaper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Bottle Caps
- Wheat flour
- Acrylic Colors & Brushes
- Glitter powder
- Decorative beads lace
Procedure:
Step 1: Let’s take two empty plastic bottles. Cut and remove the base of the bottles.
Step 2: Stick these bottles on top of one another using glue gun.
Step 3: Let’s take the bottle cap and stick it at the base of this arrangement.
Step 4: Now take old newspaper and cut it into small pieces.

Step 5: Mix glue and water in a bowl to make glue solution.
Step 6: Apply the glue solution on the plastic bottle arrangement and stick the newspaper pieces on it.
Step 7: Now take another bottle cap and paste it at the base of the arrangement to make the base stronger.
Step 8: Take wheat flour and mix it with glue. Apply this mix around the bottle and leave it to dry.

Step 9: Now it’s time to paint the vase. Take different acrylic colors and paint the vase to give it a beautiful look. Let it dry completely.
Step 10: Take glitter powder and sprinkle it all over the flower vase.
Step 11: Take a beaded lace and stick it around the vase to make it look attractive.
