Steps To Make A DIY Rolled Paper Roses Wreath
Step 1-
Take the cardboard and draw circle in the corner with the help of a pencil and divider. Frame this circle with another circle approximately 2-3 inches away. Using a cutter cut both the circles. You will get a ring of cardboard. This will be used as the base of the wreath which we will use for sticking the flowers.
Step 2-
Now to cover and design the cardboard, we will use a white paper. Trace the ring on the white paper using a pencil and with the help of a scissor, cut this white paper ring. You can use the cutter to cut the inner circle more easily. Now, stick the white paper ring to the cardboard ring with the glue. Press it and let it dry. Keep it aside and work on the other things.
Step 3-
Use the pink colour paper or paper of your choice and draw circles in this paper. Make concentric circles where you get 3-4 layers of the circles. Draw these circles using a divider and pencil. With the help of a scissor, cut the circles. Cut while preparing a spiral ring from the circle. At the end you will get a circle which opens up as a spiral folding.
Step 4-
We now need to make a flower out of this spiral folded circle. Thus, from the end or corner of the circle, start rolling it. Roll this spiral until it gets completely rolled. You will get a beautifully layered rose flower from this. To prevent it from getting apart, stick the bottom and second layer of the flower with glue. Let this get dry and set. Make such multiple flowers from same or different colours and sizes.
Step 5-
One by one, start sticking the flowers to the ring we made. Frame it in a random way where you get a fine ring made from different shaped beautiful flowers. Apply glue all over the ring and paste the flowers. Cover the entire ring and paste all the flowers in a shape of a wreath!
Step 6-
It’s now time to decorate the beautiful flowers! Take some small and large pearls and stick it on the centre of the flowers. This will enhance the beautiful look of the flowers and will make the wreath look rich!
We need to prepare the hanging look for this wreath and thus, we will use the decorative lace here. Cut the decorative lace and stick it on the wreath with glue. Also seal these laces with white paper cover to make them stick easily.
