Organizers are really important in any home. You can store various types of jewelry or small daily needs items in it. Making such an almirah or cupboard like organizer can be a daunting task. However, here we are going to make a big organizer which resembles an almirah in appearance. Yes, you heard that right! It looks both attractive and is very useful as you can store multiple things in it in an arranged manner.

This big organizer is made from old plastic bottle and hence is our best out of waste craft idea! So lets not throw away that plastic bottle after use and pollute environment. Instead, make something creative and long lasting eco-friendly craft like this. So, let’s start –

Things Needed

  • Big Plastic Bottle
  • Cardboards
  • Cutter
  • Marker
  • Fevibond Glue
  • Cello Tape
  • Glitter Paper
  • Color Sheets
  • Craft Wire
  • Beads
  • Beads Lace
  • Rubber Band

Procedure for Cupboard Making Craft

Step 1: Let’s take a big plastic bottle and draw markings on it. Now cut it accordingly to remove the funnel shaped portion of the bottle and the remaining piece will be used for the craft.

Lets take an empty plastic bottle to make this cupboard craft

Step 2: Let’s take a cardboard and draw a circle on it similar to the radius of the bottle. We need two such pieces of equal size.

Step 3: Further draw markings on the bottle and cut out a piece of it. Apply glue and stick the cardboard pieces on the opposite end of the bottle.

Step 4: Now let’s take cello tape and stick the cut out bottle piece on the bottle. This will act as the flap for the organizer.

Step 5: Let’s take glitter sheet and stick it on the cardboard with glue. Now cut out glitter strips and stick it on the base of the bottle covering it completely with it.

Step 6: Now take the two circular cardboards and stick color sheets on it. Stick color strips around the circle to cover it.

Step 7: Also stick glitter strip around the circle for a decorative look. Apply glue and stick these cardboard pieces inside the organizer.

Fix these two cardboard pieces as compartments

Step 8: Let’s take rubber band and beads lace. Now make a hole on the flap portion of the organizer and pass the rubber band through it.

Step 9: Similarly make a hole on the opposite side of the organizer. Now pass the wire and a bead through it and stick it. This will form the opening/closing point of the organizer.

Step 10: Finally apply glue and stick the bead lace on the organizer to decorate it.
