Watch How to Make Beautiful Wall Hanging from Old CD and Wool

Wall hangings are an important element of home décor. It makes the wall look attractive and hence are considered perfect for wall decoration. Wall Hanging crafts can be made from many things. Here, we are going to make a beautiful DIY handmade wall hanging and that too from old CD and wool. It looks amazingly beautiful and makes the walls look attractive.

Things Needed

• Woolen Thread
• Old CD
• Bangles
• Needle and Thread
• Knife
• Beads
• Scissors
• Bead Lace
• Craft Glue
• Cardboard
• Ribbon Lace
• Decorative Lace

Procedure:

Step 1: Let’s take an old bangle and woolen thread. Tie a knot on the bangle and wrap the woolen thread around it in a particular manner to get the required design.

Step 2: Now using thread and needle, tie another knot on this design to fix it. Take a knife and cut the edges of the bangle to make a new design.

Step 3: Let’s take a bead and a bead lace. Stick the bead at the center of the craft design and decorate the bead lace around it using craft glue.

Step 4: Now let’s take an old CD and wrap the woolen thread around it in a similar fashion as that of the bangle. Now again use thread and needle to make a knot to fix the design.

Step 5: Similar to the bangle, cut the woolen thread around the CD edges to get the required design. Now stick the bangle design on top of this CD arrangement.

Step 6: Again take another CD and wrap a woolen thread around it. Similarly, take another bangle and wrap it with wool as done earlier. Make another arrangement by sticking bangle design on CD.

Step 7: Stick bead and bead lace in a similar fashion as that of the previous one on the bangle arrangement. We need three such arrangements.

Step 8: Now take a small circular cardboard and stick it on the backside of each of these designs. Take a lace and stick the designs on it. Make a loop with the lace for hanging purpose.

Step 9: Take a thread and wrap it around your fingers. Tie a knot at one end and cut the other end of it to form the tassel. Use a decorative lace to tie it around the knot portion of the tassel.

Step 10: Stick this tassel at the lower end of the craft to complete the look.

Wow! Your beautiful DIY wall hanging is now ready.
