Step by Step Procedure to Make Handmade Paper Gift Bag

Step 1-

Take the colour sheet. With the help of a ruler measure the width as 11.5cm and mark the same with a pencil. Now fold the sheet from the marked area.

Step 2-

Mark the dimensions on the sheet with the help of a pencil. Draw the geometric figures only on the folded portion of the sheet. Please check below for the markings. This is how the sheet will look after all the dimensions are drawn on the same.

Step 3-

Now cut along the marked areas with the help of scissors. Use a cutter to cut the petal shaped objects.

Step 4-

From the lower edge of the petal shape draw vertical lines. Draw as many lines as the number of petals present on the sheet. Use a cutter to rub on the surface of these lines. Do not cut these lines. This process is only to make the folds easier and get the perfect folds.

Step 5-

Draw scalp shape on the top edge of the petals and cut it uniformly. From the center of the scalp make marking and use a cutter to smoothly run on it. Now fold the center of the scalp.

Step 6-

Join the two ends of the paper with the help of the glue stick. Also seal the bottom ends of the box and make the box stand on its base.

Step 7-

Now use the decorative pearl places to fix on the hexagonal cylindrical surface. Paste the artificial pearls on the top edge of the box to give it an attractive look.

Step 8-

You can place some chocolates or small gift items inside the box. Now to seal the mouth of the box, use a decorative lace. Tie this lace on around the neck of the box.

Your decorative paper gift box is now ready. You can use colour sheet of your choice. It is easy to make and the materials used are readily available, therefore it serves as a perfect gifting item.
