• Scale
• Pencil
• A pair of scissors

Kids Craft Ideas :Procedure for Making Christmas Tree

Step 1-

Cut a strip as long as the length of the paper and 7cm in width.

Step 2-

Cut similar length strips of width 4 cms and 2 cms too.

Step 3-

Now take the first strip that is 7 cms wide, and begin to fold it in short intervals using the method of paper valley folding.

Step 4-

After the entire paper has been folded join both the ends with the help of the adhesive.

Step 5-

Make similar round shaped rings after folding the 4cm and 2 cm wide strips.

Step 6-

Now keep the ring in vertical position and put some adhesive in the inner corners on the edge of the biggest ring and scrunch it together from the top to form a conical base of the tree as shown. Hold the grip for a minute to ensure proper fixing if the edges.

Step 7-

Repeat the same process for the other 2 rings also.

Step 8-

Now take the broadest and widest cone (7cm) in the base and set the other two cones on top of them as shown in the video above.

Step 9-

Take the handmade glitter paper and cut a small star out of it.

Step 10-

Take a red colored paper and cut a star smaller than the golden one so as to stick it on top of the golden one.

Step 11-

Next, take some thermocol balls and cut them into half and decorate your tree with them.

Material Required for The Base of Christmas Tree

• White satin ribbon
• Empty jar
• Old CD
• A circular cut out from the green handmade sheet

 Procedure for Making Base of the Christmas Tree

Step 1-

Take an old CD and cut small bits and pieces out of it.

Step 2-

Cut them in random shapes and with the help of adhesive stick them on the lower half of the empty jar, to form a mosaic pattern. The best way to use waste!

Step 3-

Now take the white ribbon and start wrapping it in a pattern from the mouth of the empty jar coming down towards the base.

Step 4-

Now paste the green circular cut out on the mouth of the jar and paste the Christmas tree on top of this with the adhesive.

Step 5-

You can also give a bigger golden star under the jar as add-on decoration.

Step 6-

Finally, add some decorative lights and Christmas ornaments like baubles in different colors.

And there you have in front of your very own tailor made and handcrafted Christmas tree!
